Leather selection

Leather selection icon

Our Leather Selection Department carefully inspects and chooses premium raw hides or wet blue/crust leather in-house for jackets, motorbike suits, and gloves. Skilled experts examine each hide for grain quality, defects (scars, holes, loose grain), thickness uniformity, suppleness, size, and color consistency—grading them to match specific garment requirements and minimize waste.

Leather Drying

Our Leather Drying Department manages controlled in-house drying of processed leather (wet blue, crust, or finished) using methods like toggling, vacuum drying, air drying, or tunnel drying. Hides are stretched on frames with toggles for even tension, or placed in controlled chambers to remove moisture gradually—preventing shrinkage, cracks, or distortion while achieving uniform moisture content (typically 12-18%).

Our Leather Shaver Department (Shaving Unit) performs precise in-house thickness reduction on wet blue or crust leather hides using advanced shaving machines with sharp helical blades and adjustable rollers. This process uniformly shaves the flesh side to achieve consistent thickness (typically 0.8-1.2mm for garments), removes excess bulk, corrects irregularities, and improves suppleness for better drape and sewing.

Our Skin Trimming Process Department employs precision cutting techniques on premium leather hides, removing excess fat, flesh, and imperfections with sharp rotary blades and skilled hand-finishing. This essential in-house step ensures smooth, uniform edges, optimal thickness (0.8-1.2mm for garments), and zero defects, minimizing waste for efficient production of jackets, motorbike suits, and gloves. Certified under ISO 9001:2015.

Our Toggle Department (also known as Toggling or Toggle Drying Unit) performs essential in-house drying and stretching of wet or semi-processed leather hides. Using specialized toggle frames and small spring-loaded clamps (toggles/hooks), skilled operators stretch the leather evenly under controlled tension to air-dry it while minimizing shrinkage, enhancing flatness, improving grain uniformity, and reducing excess stretchability.

Our Buff Machining Department (Buffing Unit) performs precise in-house buffing on leather hides using specialized rotary buffing machines with abrasive paper or rollers. This process lightly abrades the grain or flesh side to smooth the surface, remove minor defects, level irregularities, and achieve a uniform, soft, velvety, or nubuck-like finish—enhancing suppleness and appearance.
